About Us

reelsIn 2001, Frontera Films entered the film production industry with a philosophy of financing and producing independent feature films in a wide variety of genres then turning the finished product over to a film distributor for domestic and international release.  Frontera typically finances its production activities thus giving the company control over all-important creative and financing decisions.  Frontera also collaborates with its production partners in supervising the major aspects of the filmmaking process.

While Frontera utilizes its own capital to finance its film projects, the company prefers to enter into co-production arrangements with other production outfits to minimize its financial exposure and to effectively leverage its capital base to a wider film production slate.

Frontera Films is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Frontera Group, LLC., a Los Angeles-based private investment boutique.
